This is a really substantial kitchen island, with a very industrial look to it. A particularly deep (5"/125mm thick) piece of granite, salvaged from the Rolls Royce factory, makes this a very impressive piece.

  • The original base is made from heavy gauge steel, which we have transformed in to a functional piece, with the addition of reclaimed pitch pine
  • Originally an engineers surface plate, used for making accurate measurements, the stunning solid black granite top, from the Rolls Royce factory, now makes a great practical work surface in the kitchen.
