Large Industrial Factory Fabric Rack Shelving 1940's/50's

This 1940's/50's large metal frame with castors, was originally used for storing fabric in the factory where it was manufactured. The frame had limited use in its' original format, so we converted it to a very large shelving unit, using reclaimed wood.

  • Very solid metal frame in excellent condition, which has been repainted
  • Wooden shelves made from fabulous reclaimed pitch pine (shown in photo), with beautiful patina, and wonderful rustic look
  • The unit in the photos is sold, but we have 3 more available
  • Shelves can be made in either pitch pine, pine or oak
  • Brass corners on the shelves, add an extra special touch
  • Large castors, not original, but have a vintage industrial look, and are very useful to wheel such a heavy piece around
  • Identical on each side, so can be used as a free standing unit
